To imaginepeace77: the goverment had warned john lennon to stop protesting against the war but he continued to. And the "violence" you are talking about was nessassary. Not all wars are from us, and not all wars are needed, but not all wars are the same. We needed the revolutionary war or else we would have been enslaved by Britian.
I want peace but we cannot have it.

i dont need to be told it, they show it to us. if Cuba wants peace why did they point missle silos at us? if Russia wants peace why did they supply the missles to Cuba? if North Vietnam wants peace how come they teach their population to hate americans, their "nursery songs" involve them killing americans or america surrendering/admiting that we are horrible.

look, I call lazy people like you and you. I'm from Croatia (if you are uneducated like I'm supposeing; type in google "war in Croatia") and I'm child of war and wartime. There is nothing from long hairs, smelly breaths and songs. If you wanna change take action. Easiest way is to protest and talk... nothing comes from that. That's not productive. Understand ;)

it is so stupid that people believe in someting that is not universally true.... religion... which has slightly different understanding of world around us that causes hate... "Hey my religion is better than yours so I think I am going to kill you!" Destroy all religions and we will have peace physically.
