Yes Mad this scene is anchored in the common love or music isn't it? When i watch the face of Hosenfeld here in his fine uniform, I want to know what he is thinking as he listens to the Jewish man who plays the piano like an angel.

Thank you for posting this most dramatic and poignant scene from the movie. It is almost too personal and powerful to comment upon...but it is beauty and I think anyone who sees it in the film will recognize the weight, power and magic of it.

this scene just swallows me up, every single time i watch it. ...actually, after that first time, I don't even 'watch' it anymore because i just have to close my eyes and listen.
sooo good.

eBay or amazon has the DVDs for less than $20 US. There's also Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs.
