I'd say go ahead and buy an iMac now. Usually, Apple won't release anything new in between January and June. If you can wait til' June, then wait. If not, just go ahead and get the beauty now. Either way you'll get an awesome computer.

Play it safe and wait, I was going to buy an Imac last week fully loaded, but the rumor is that they may come out with one that looks the same but with much more specs on it...I'm gonna use to be my center of my music production so I need as much Ram I can get, I predict is gonna have quad processors and ram up to 6 or 8GB, at least I wish. :)

I believe macs are generally targeted towards professional organisations or just general use, more than they are made to be a gaming machine.
You don't see Chris playing games 24/7 do you?
Games are for little boys (imo) and while they might be fun, macs are for getting the JOB done.
If I wan't to play games, i'll go out and build myself a nice custom PC for $1000.
But for general use, I would rather go out and buy a Mac.
If you don't play games. Macs are perfect way to go. |
