I feel lucky, because I had tried AOL for the free 30 days last year, and when I had wanted to cancel my account, I had no problem. But then again, they were not trying to keep a PAYING customer, since I was on a trial period.

If AOL was the only provider...then I would have no internet because I will never use them as my source of internet connection.
I work in customer service and the guy should have just listened to him, it's his right to cancel..just move on!

my dad tried to cancel AOL and got suckered into a year or so of reduced priced AOL. So this trying to cancel AOL business really hits home and AOL pisses me off. I think my dad is a comcast user now and I'm not sure how he stands with AOL anymore, but I wouldn't be one bit surprised if he still had it in the background and paying them each month.

my aol account was not cancelled until my credit card was charged off. Awesome. Customer service. not so hard. |
